A few weeks ago, I entered and won a giveaway contest to receive about 100 Nuttzo Organic 7 Nut & Seed Butter pouches. 9 boxes of 10 pouches of the Power Fuel variety, my favorite, arrived in the mail with perfect timing as I was just about to begin a half marathon training plan and could definitely use the 2 go pouches.
I used to be a big peanut butter fan as a child, starting with the unnatural oily versions, until I upgraded to the natural version that contained only peanuts and maybe some salt. I then discovered almond butter, became a fan of it and similarly upgraded to the version that contained only almonds and some salt. But recently, I upgraded both my peanut butter and almond butter even further to the Nuttzo brand of organic nut & seed butters.
Ingredient and nutrition-wise, Nuttzo Peanut Pro and Power Fuel are the first of their kind. What differentiates this nut & seed butter from the millions of others on the market is the ingredient profile. In this post, I am particularly focusing on the Power Fuel 7 Nuts & Seed Butter, which contains 8 simple ingredients:
- organic roasted cashews
- organic roasted almonds
- organic roasted brazil nuts
- organic roasted flax seeds
- organic roasted hazelnuts
- organic roasted chia seeds
- organic roasted pumpkin seeds
- Celtic sea salt
No added oils (like palm oil) or sugars
Free of gluten, peanut, dairy and soy (allergens)
Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Vegan and Organic
Before opening up the pouch (there is a little cut at one end that facilitates opening), you have to knead and press the pouch really well, because the natural oils can separate from the solid parts in the nut & seed butter. If you don’t knead the pouch, some of the nut butter will remain stuck inside of it.
Nuttzo Power Fuel 7 Nut & Seed Butter comes in jars and 2 go pouches.
